Beautiful Feet

What are your feet like? Do you have smooth heels or old-looking dry heels? Are your toes long or short? Are you happy with your feet or do you feel embarrased about them? Do you like running barefoot or do you keep your feet covered at all costs? Where am I going with this? Great question...my final question will be more to the point...What do you do with your feet? Our feet are the the tools we use to walk, in essence to bring things...but we need to be deliberate about what we bring. Jesus' final job for believers is to spread the gospel...make disciples of all nations...that's a lot of walking! But hold onto this promise that Gd says in Isaiah 52:7

How beautiful on the mountains
   are the feet of those who bring good news,
who proclaim peace,
   who bring good tidings,
   who proclaim salvation,
who say to Zion,
   “Your God reigns!”

Use your beautiful feet...the cheapest pedicure is to spread the gospel; honestly you will have beautiful feet! How else will people hear the word and believe? Paul asks the same thing in Romans 10:14-15

" How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?  And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”
